Nature
in the classroom

A pioneering project that brings living ecosystems into classrooms to learn science through direct experience

¿What is 'Nature in the Classroom'?
Nature in the Classroom is an initiative promoted by BIOPARC Fuengirola that installs small freshwater ecosystems in school classrooms. These aquariums house a real ecosystem made up of neocaridina shrimp, plants, and algae, allowing students to observe, care for, and learn directly from nature. Each classroom becomes a living space for experimentation, science, and environmental awareness.

“The students become caretakers of a real ecosystem”
