Tropical forests of the planet
Embark on a unique journey and discover the incredible biodiversity of tropical rainforests around the world. In our recreation of natural habitats, visitors will be able to enjoy endangered species that inhabit such fascinating places as: the island of Madagascar, Equatorial Africa, Southeast Asia, the Indo-Pacific islands and, as a novelty, Central and South America. Our newest addition, inspired by Juan Sebastián Elcano's expedition and his historic first trip around the world. Every step through BIOPARC is an opportunity to connect with nature and learn about the importance of preserving these natural treasures.
New habitat and The INFINITE JOURNEY of Magellan and Elcano
The new extension is inspired by the historic first circumnavigation of the world by Juan Sebastián Elcano and the men of the ship Victoria. Just as the Spanish explorers did, the extension will allow visitors to discover the rich biodiversity of Central and South American reefs, rivers and jungles, thus promoting greater awareness and appreciation for their conservation. The park's design accurately reproduces these habitats, offering an immersive and educational experience that connects the history of the discovery of the nature of the New World, in a tour of reefs, navigation rooms, a cabinet of curiosities, Amazonian aquariums and a large aviary in which, through collapsed cenotes, one reaches a Mayan pyramid.
