The summer months are perfect to enjoy free time as a family, with the little ones. For all of them, Bioparc Fuengirola launches an extensive program of activities with which to have fun and discover the wonderful natural world and the fauna and flora that inhabit it.
During the months of July and August, people who visit this animal park located in the heart of the Costa del Sol will be able to immerse themselves in its hidden tropical jungles in a very special way: through meetings with keepers. Visitors will get closer to the different species it houses with the help of the Zoology, Herpetology, Water, Exhibition and Education teams.
Dozens of different activities to learn, have fun and discover biodiversity
These meetings with caregivers will take place every day, at 12:30 p.m. and 18:00 p.m., at different points in the park. These spaces will become points where you can discover the work that, day after day, the keepers carry out to obtain the maximum well-being of the animals.
Every day, visitors will learn about the habits of some of the species it houses, they will learn about interesting aspects such as their characteristics or physical singularities, in addition to the enrichments and training they develop to enhance their instincts, their physique and, of course, their well-being. These encounters include: diving in a cenote, feeding motor rays, the world of arthropods, training with giant Galapagos tortoises, feeding gorillas, culinary delights, meeting the Sumatran tiger or a la carte ice cream, among others.

As a novelty, this summer Bioparc Fuengirola launches small free guided tours with which to explore the different habitats of the park. From the new area of Central and South America, to the islands of the Indo-Pacific, Southeast Asia, the Mayan world or equatorial Africa. In all of them, visitors will be accompanied by a member of the Education team, who will guide them and teach them about the fascinating world they can contemplate during their experience. These will take place every day, morning and afternoon, in different passes that interested people can consult on the park's web agenda and at their ticket offices.

At sunset visitors will have the opportunity to rediscover the park. From July 4 to August 31, every night, the Claro de Selva team of trainers will invite visitors to get up close to nocturnal species with a special night session of the Birds and Mammals Educational Activity. Right at the end of this activity, at 22:30 p.m., this same space will be filled with the African rhythms and colors with the Senegalese group 'Sicobana'. A unique event to experience the magic of African dances with dancers, percussionists and choreographers who will show African culture to the entire public.
Along with these activities, BIOPARC Fuengirola maintains those already scheduled on the agenda: guided visits to the island of Madagascar and the daytime session of the Educational Activity with Birds and Mammals.
