Bioparc Fuengirola reopens its doors to living culture with the celebration of an exclusive bonsai workshop taught by David Cortizas, one of the leading figures in the art of bonsai in Spain and founder of Kaeru En, a school specializing in this discipline. The activity will take place on Sunday, July 13 at 11:00 a.m., and is aimed at both beginners and amateurs who wish to deepen their knowledge and techniques of this ancient art.
Bonsai, originally from Asia, is not just a form of gardening, but an expression of harmony, balance, and patience. Through the meticulous care of miniature trees, a deep connection with nature and respect for its cycles is conveyed. This philosophy fits perfectly with the mission of Bioparc Fuengirola, a center committed to the conservation of species and ecosystems threatened, where each space recreates natural habitats that invite reflection on the relationship between humans and the environment. In this workshop, we want to share this vision, which goes beyond the aesthetic and aligns with Bioparc's work to promote biodiversity.
The workshop will be held in the park's natural surroundings, in a unique environment that connects with the essence of bonsai: representing the power of life in balance with its environment.
Requires prior registration, with limited placesA unique opportunity to delve into the art of bonsai with a master, surrounded by living nature.
That same day, in the afternoon, David Cortizas will also hold an exhibition open to the public.
