BIOPARC Fuengirola participates in the ENCIC Seminar of the University of Malaga with a research project on invasive species

The BIOPARC Fuengirola team has participated in the ENCIC Seminar from the University of Malaga, a meeting space dedicated to the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the field of research and education.

During our participation, we presented the research project we are developing in collaboration with the University of Málaga, which aims to evaluate the effect of an educational intervention carried out at BIOPARC Fuengirola. This initiative focuses on raising awareness about invasive alien species, one of the main threats to biodiversity globally.

Through this project, we analyze how environmental education actions can contribute to improving visitors' knowledge, perception, and awareness of the problem of invasive species and the importance of preventing their introduction and spread.

The collaboration between BIOPARC Fuengirola and the University of Malaga reinforces our commitment to applied research and education for conservation, promoting initiatives that generate knowledge and contribute to the protection of biodiversity.
