• In 2019 alone, we received more than 25.000 students from 244 schools throughout Andalusia. In 2022, and after two unusual years, we recovered more than 85 percent of the school visits we achieved and we plan to exceed these figures by the end of 2023

An Education department made up of more than a dozen professionals who work to adapt the content to the different teaching programs

Like every year, our Education department, made up of professionals from Education, Biology and Conservation, works to adapt the park's school educational program to the needs of the teachers. They make contact with educational centers throughout Andalusia with the mission of being part of their programming and collaborating in teaching through visits and specialized workshops.

Schoolchildren, between 3 and 18 years old, not only enjoy direct observation of surprising species, but also learn to respect nature through storytelling, participate in fun educational games adapted to the age range of each group or experiment, first-hand, with a wide range of biological samples that serve as support on this journey to knowledge.

School visits for children, primary and secondary school. The tour of about three hours can be complemented with extra activities: escape room or restaurant service. And also be done in English at no additional cost

With an approximate duration of three hours, students have a total experience with the BIOPARC Fuengirola environment, the different habitats that recreates, as well as more than 200 different species. Some of these can only be seen in this park, as is the case of birds such as the bicornuate and Papuan hornbill, the blue duiker, considered the smallest antelope in South Africa, the golden-cheeked gibbon or the Malayan tapir, the only one that lives in Asia.

All Education work is completed with numerous recreational activities that bring adults and children closer to the animal world. An example of this are the camps that are launched during each holiday period under the name of Jungle Adventurers.
