This summer, the Costa del Sol has a corner unlike anything we've seen before. In the heart of Fuengirola, a place where leisure becomes adventure, fun becomes discovery, and every visit becomes a gesture of love for nature. We're talking about BIOPARC Fuengirola, a unique experience that invites us to escape the heat and immerse ourselves, day and night, in the most remote tropical rainforests on the planet. All this during the months of July and August. A sensory journey without leaving Malaga.
Encounters that make a difference: face-to-face with caregivers
This summer, BIOPARC surprises visitors once again with one of its most anticipated offerings: Caregiver Meet-and-greets. A total of more than ten daily activities, morning and afternoon, allow visitors to gain a closer look than ever before at the technical team's daily work with the animals.
From attending the underwater feeding of South American species to witnessing the training of giant Galapagos tortoises. Can you imagine witnessing the feeding of Nile crocodiles or the babies of the mythical Komodo dragon? Or seeing how the park's lemurs or gorillas are enriching their environment? Now it's possible.
These unique encounters provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see, experience, and understand how some of the planet's most amazing species are professionally and passionately cared for.
When the sun goes down... the magic continues
BIOPARC Fuengirola extends its opening hours during July and August, opening its doors until 23:00 p.m. A refreshing opportunity to experience something different amid lush vegetation, the sounds of nature, and a more pleasant climate.
As night falls, the jungle comes alive, transforming into a stage filled with music and rhythm. African folklore fills the park with its spectacle of tribal dances and songs, preceded by educational activities featuring birds and mammals. A perfect plan to enjoy with family or friends, and discover this lesser-known and fascinating side of tropical forest nightlife.
Thursday Night: Dinner with an Indian Soul
New for summer Thursdays, the season is filled with spices and tradition. BIOPARC Café transforms into a corner of India to offer a themed dinner featuring traditional Indian dishes and a live show. A unique and inviting experience for those looking for a complete gastronomic experience, surrounded by nature.
And much more: nature at every step
In addition, throughout the day, visitors can continue to enjoy all the park's educational and leisure offerings:
- The “Discover BIOPARC” micro-visits
- A visit to the exotic island of Madagascar
- Food enrichments
- Discoveries in 'The Chamber of Wonders'
- And the activity of birds and mammals, which showcases the most surprising behaviors of species such as the armadillo, the western sitatunga, the short-clawed otter, and the hornbill, among others.
And for those looking for something truly innovative, BIOPARC presents its latest addition: "The Last Frontier," a virtual reality projection that takes you to the bottom of the sea. An exciting journey through the abyssal depths of the planet, where you'll discover that we know more about space than we do about our own oceans. With immersive technology and special glasses, this experience is ideal for the whole family and promises to leave a lasting impression.
Double visit for only €2: live BIOPARC at your own pace
This summer, BIOPARC Fuengirola is launching a promotion as special as its leisure offering: for just 2 euros extra, visitors can re-enter the park a second time on the same day. A perfect opportunity for those who want to enjoy this magnificent space in broad daylight and return at night to experience its more mysterious, fresh, and fascinating atmosphere. From July 1st to August 30th.
BIOPARC Fuengirola is, in short, much more than a zoo. It's an immersive experience in the heart of the city, where you can stroll through perfectly recreated habitats: from the humid mangroves of Southeast Asia to the African jungles or the forests of Madagascar and, as a new feature, Central and South America. Here, vegetation not only decorates, but also envelops and protects, creating a natural microclimate that allows you to escape the summer heat.
And all this with a clear objective: to educate, excite, and protect biodiversity, inspiring each visitor to take part in the conservation of the planet.
